The Scotland & North of England Electrochemistry Symposium is a one day event for PhD students and PDRAs. Meet with your peers and present your research in any field related to electrochemistry.
There will be oral presentations and posters. Each year, the event finishes with a keynote lecture from an academic of high standing in the field. This year the keynote speaker is Prof. Richard J. Nichols of the University of Liverpool.
Present your Research
To submit an abstract for either an oral presentation or a poster, download the abstract template. Email it as a one page word document to Dr. Angel Cuesta firstname.lastname@example.org, specifying the type of presentation. The deadline for oral abstracts is 13th March 2018, and the deadline for posters is 13th April 2018.
Oral presentations are designed for PhD students who might otherwise not have an opportunity to speak during their studies.
There will be a prize to the best PhD speaker (TBC).
The symposium is free to attend and lunch is included. The event is funded by the RSC Electrochemistry Interest Group, the Scottish RSC local sections and industrial sponsors including Blue Scientific.
