RMS Beginners Competition
The RMS Beginners Competition is designed to encourage those relatively new to microscopy to present their work to an audience at a scientific meeting. The competition is open to students, interns, apprentices and faculty staff who’ve given no more than two talks outside their home institution. The competition is often a highlight of the meeting.
Presentations should be approximately 10 minutes long, with a few minutes allocated for questions. This short format promotes a well thought-out, economical style.
To enter, send a brief abstract to Dr Alex Ball, Secretary of the SEMT at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your abstract should be one A4 side max in Word. Include your title, authors, scientific abstract and a figure with caption.
