Bruker Micro-CT User Meeting 2016

The international Bruker micro-CT User Meeting 2016 will be on 9-12 May in Luxembourg, at the Mondorf Parc Hotel in Mondorf-les-Bains.

UPDATE: Due to security concerns, this event has been relocated from Brussels to a new venue in Luxembourg.

Hear talks about micro-CT applications in materials science and life sciences. There will also be poster sessions, social events and networking. There are also opportunities to present your work at the meeting – details below.

The date of this event has now passed.

The attendance fee is €150, which includes the welcome reception, conference dinner and social event. Attendance is free for presenters.

Bruker Micro-CT Users' Meeting Presentations

Present your Work

To support users contributing to the meeting, Bruker are offering complimentary hotel accommodation (3 nights) to those who present a paper (1 night for posters). You are invited to contribute to the meeting with:

  • Oral presentations (20 minutes) – deadline 18/03/16
  • Poster presentations
  • Picture contest – projection images, reconstructions, 3D models etc (Multiple entries allowed)
  • Movie contest – maximum length 30 seconds, made with CTVol or CTVox (Multiple entries allowed)

There will also be prizes for the best poster and oral presentation, voted for by attendees. You could win an iPhone, iPad or a voucher for to 3D print a model of your choice! (Have you seen our article about how to 3D print your micro-CT scans?) Full details are on the Bruker Micro-CT website.

Micro-CT Training

Before the main user meeting, on Monday afternoon, there will be free micro-CT training opportunity for users. Laptops and datasets will be provided. There will be parallel sessions, focussing on specific topics, so you can choose those most relevant ot your work.
